During my internship with Resident Home, I familiarized myself with finding the right partners for specific campaigns and targeting niche groups of potential buyers. By evaluating affiliate and creator applications and managing influencer relationships, I know how to drive brand growth using social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. When finding the right partner for a specific campaign, looking at the brand as a whole is essential. When looking for creators, I need to look at their audience, how they interact with them, and how their audience interacts with them.

At my internship at Easy Event Planning, I wrote drafts of various party planning ideas across multiple platforms, including Google Docs and WordPress, using affiliate programs like Amazon and Etsy. I excelled in my ability to craft engaging copy to drive engagement within the blog and use keyword placement to expand our reach within Google.

Understanding how to implement a new product concept into a business plan is a lengthy process and requires a team effort of different minds. During my product strategy course at the Leeds School of Business, my team and I completed the steps to creating a new product, in our case, a shoe insert, to provide metrics and comfortability to new runners. I oversaw my team’s work as the team leader. I worked hard on the consumer persona, brand architecture, competitors, key consumer research, big idea & marketing objectives, and creative content.

Creating content is a tremendous part of marketing, but it truly boils down to tracking how your audience reacts. Through my education and internship at Resident Home, I have been trained to decipher marketing data and use it to improve campaign effectiveness. I have been able to integrate my understanding of the brand I am working with with emerging trends catered to its audience.
